Our client is an established and regulated on line gambling site based in Nicosia.We are seeking to recruit on their behalf a Bookkeeper who has around 2 years previous working experience in a similar role.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting books and records
  • Record the accounting transactions into accounting software
  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Perform client reconciliation
  • Dealing with the preparation of the Monthly Regulatory Reporting of the Company
  • Execute the monthly payroll calculations (including all the relevant submissions to the local authorities)
  • Liaise with the Company’s external auditors
  • Take part in the calculation, preparation, and submission of the quarterly VAT returns
  • Responsible for organising and executing the monthly payment of corporate and other expenses
  • Prepare any other ad hoc duties and reports that might be required from time and time

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • University Degree in Accounting and Finance or LCCI
  • At least 1 year of work experience in Accounting is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft office tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (written and spoken)Fast learning capacity and high level of confidentiality
